BrookeCertified Veterinary Technician
Brooke was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2016 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Prior to working at Hilltop, Brooke worked both in General Veterinary Practice and Emergency. Brooke has 2 dachshund’s, Dubs and Dexter. During her free time, she enjoys taking her daughter to the park, zoo, and trampoline park. Brooke's favorite things about working at Hilltop is helping sick animals get back to their normal lives. Brooke looks forward to meeting you and your pet!
GabbyCertified Veterinary Assistant
Gabby has wanted to work with animals from the time she was 6 years old. Many of Hilltop's beloved clients already knew Gabby from the five years she worked across the street at the Paw Cottage boarding facility, and can't forget her because of her warm, caring, positive attitude and bright happy smile! She came to Hilltop in 2015 after graduating from PIMA Medical Institute as a Veterinary Assistant. Gabby states that since starting at Hilltop, '...it has been such a blessing to get the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff... Every day we all come to work and we live by our Mission Statement, 'Improving Lives One Pet at a Time!”
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending time with her son and finance, as well as their 6 pets. Gabby has 3 cats, 2 dogs and a spider. Gabby also enjoys adding to her “101 Dalmatians” collection, working out, and playing video games as well as watching the Denver Broncos (her 'one and only team”).
MariaCertified Veterinary Assistant
Maria was born in Eastern Ohio and
spent most of her life there before moving to Colorado in 2010. She has lived most
of her life surrounded by a variety of animals like cows, ducks, chickens,
horses, rabbits, and goats. Growing up her family taught her the importance of
taking care of animals when they adopted four German shepherds from the
Department of Corrections. After that, at the age of six, she knew she
wanted to work in veterinary medicine. She is currently a Certified Veterinary Assistant
and is in school to complete her Certified Veterinary Technician degree. During
her down time, she enjoys reading books, watching documentaries, and
adventuring around Colorado with her friends and enjoys the clients and pets
she gets to know at Hilltop.
Nicky is originally from Los Angles, California and moved to Pueblo, Colorado in 2020. She went to school and studied Human Biology. Soon after graduating she started working at a veterinary clinic . Nicky has 2 1/2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant. Nicky joined Hilltop because she wants to continue caring for animals and developing her skills along the way! In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, playing Nintendo switch, and playing with her puppy, Bowser.

Leah is an avid animal lover. She has always had animals in her life and feels life wouldn’t be normal without animals in it. She is a Colorado native and grew up in Colorado Springs, but moved to Pueblo West 17 years ago with her family. This is where she discovered her love for working with all types of animals.
Leah showed horses and dogs for 10 years and has always known she wanted to work with animals. She was originally a client at Hilltop. Seeing how Hilltop helped improve her animals lives was so inspiring and she wanted to help be a part of a team that strives it improve lives one pet at a time. Leah joined Hilltop in the spring of 2017 as a kennel assistant. Leah feels blessed to be working at Hilltop and working with such an amazing team.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and loves being a “soccer mom” to her boys! Some of her hobbies include photography and cake decorating. She also enjoys riding her horses and taking care of variety of animals including 1 dog, 1 rabbit, 2 horses, 1 bearded dragon and a hermit crab.

Samantha has always been around animals for as long as she can remember and has loved every moment of having them in her life. She has lived in different parts of Colorado for almost all her life but was born in Anchorage Alaska.
She serves as a client care specialist and kennel assistant and her favorite part about Hilltop is being able to work with people that care for animals with a passion and building strong bonds with coworkers and clients.
Samantha is currently a student at Pueblo Community College working on her Associates of Science degree and is training to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She has six animals at home that she spends most her days with, two dogs and four cats. When she is not at home with her pets, she is spending time with her fiance's pets and family.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time in the outdoors of Colorado hiking mountain biking and camping. She also likes playing video and board games with friends and family.
Angelina is from Littleton, Colorado, and has always enjoyed working with animals. Currently, she is going to school to become a veterinarian and is working on her bachelor’s at CSU-Pueblo. Her passion for animals grew as she volunteered at shelters and the Denver Zoo. Angelina joined Hilltop in 2019 as a Client Care Specialist, but has since moved into the role of Kennel Assistant. She hopes to soon be a veterinary technician. Hilltop has shaped her into what she is today and is thankful for each and every one of her coworkers who have helped her. She is so thankful to be working in such an amazing community as Pueblo West and looks forward to taking care of each animal that comes in.
MariaClient Care Specialist
With her background and education in human health information, Maria joined Hilltop in April 2019. Maria didn’t always know where life would take her, but absolutely adores working with the fuzzy four-legged loves.
Maria has one son and two fur babies of her own and loves baking in her free time. She enjoys working on computers as well as the patient/client interaction and would be happy to assist you in scheduling your pets!
IzabellaClient Care Specialist
Izabella was born in a small quiet town in Michigan and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado when she was 7 years old. She participated in many extracurricular activities throughout her life, including varsity track for Grand Junction High School. A few years after her high school graduation, Izabella became engaged to her then boyfriend and soon to be husband.
Izabella’s future in-laws decided to be closer to family and moved back to Pueblo, where they were originally from. Izabella joined her new family to start her own path and see where life would take her.
Izabella enjoys being able to work with the wonderful people who share her love for animals and would be delighted to assist you with all your pet’s needs!
AlyssaClient Care Specialist
Alyssa was born and raised in Pueblo, CO. She is currently a student attending Colorado State University-Pueblo ready to graduate in May of 2021. She is getting her degree in Social Work and Psychology because she has a passion for helping others. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and being creative. Something she loves about Hilltop is the connections built with our clients and their pets.
Cindy grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and then moved to California during her early and adult life. She attended college and became a licensed Psychiatric Technician.Cindy worked with the State of California in various nursing and psychiatric facilities. She retired after 38 years as a Program Director in 2015 and moved with her husband and youngest of five children to Pueblo West.
Cindy joined Hilltop as a receptionist in a part-time role. She is excited to work with staff and pets at Hilltop and to use her skills to help the clinic, clients, and pets!
Cindy has two dogs and two cats who demand much of her attention when home. Her hobbies include puzzles, jigsaw, video games, and visual puzzles. She loves camping with her husband and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
AngelaClient Care Specialist/Admin. Assistant
Angela is a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern Colorado-Pueblo (currently known as Colorado State University-Pueblo) in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Business Administration.
She joined the Hilltop family June 2016, and utilizes her twelve years of administrative experience to help Hilltop as receptionist, administrative duties, patient records and everything else!
Outside of work Angela enjoys spending time with her family, which includes a Chihuahua named Buster.
BrittanyExecutive Administrative Assistant
Brittany was born in Albuquerque, NM and lived there most of her life before moving to Colorado in 2020. Brittany has been in the customer service industry for over 10 years and has always been very passionate about helping animals and people.
When Brittany is not working, she enjoys being outdoors, reading, cooking, traveling, and most of all spending time with her kids and family.
Brittany joined Hilltop in December of 2020. She likes working at Hilltop because everyone at Hilltop shares the same vision and is dedicated to our mission. Brittany looks forward to the opportunity to making every experience at Hilltop pleasant for both the client and patient.
