Gabby has wanted to work with animals from the time she was 6 years old. Many of Hilltop's beloved clients already knew Gabby from the five years she worked across the street at the Paw Cottage boarding facility, and can't forget her because of her warm, caring, positive attitude and bright happy smile! She came to Hilltop in 2015 after graduating from PIMA Medical Institute as a Veterinary Assistant. Gabby states that since starting at Hilltop, '...it has been such a blessing to get the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff... Every day we all come to work and we live by our Mission Statement, 'Improving Lives One Pet at a Time!”
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending time with her son and finance, as well as their 6 pets. Gabby has 3 cats, 2 dogs and a spider. Gabby also enjoys adding to her “101 Dalmatians” collection, working out, and playing video games as well as watching the Denver Broncos (her 'one and only team”).
Maria T.Certified Veterinary Assistant
Maria was born in Eastern Ohio and
spent most of her life there before moving to Colorado in 2010. She has lived most
of her life surrounded by a variety of animals like cows, ducks, chickens,
horses, rabbits, and goats. Growing up her family taught her the importance of
taking care of animals when they adopted four German shepherds from the
Department of Corrections. After that, at the age of six, she knew she
wanted to work in veterinary medicine. She is currently a Certified Veterinary Assistant
and is in school to complete her Certified Veterinary Technician degree. During
her down time, she enjoys reading books, watching documentaries, and
adventuring around Colorado with her friends and enjoys the clients and pets
she gets to know at Hilltop.
LeahLeah - Kennel Assistant
Leah is an avid animal lover. She has always had animals in her life and feels life wouldn’t be normal without animals in it. She is a Colorado native and grew up in Colorado Springs, but moved to Pueblo West 17 years ago with her family. This is where she discovered her love for working with all types of animals.
Leah showed horses and dogs for 10 years and has always known she wanted to work with animals. She was originally a client at Hilltop. Seeing how Hilltop helped improve her animals lives was so inspiring and she wanted to help be a part of a team that strives it improve lives one pet at a time. Leah joined Hilltop in the spring of 2017 as a kennel assistant. Leah feels blessed to be working at Hilltop and working with such an amazing team.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and loves being a “soccer mom” to her boys! Some of her hobbies include photography and cake decorating. She also enjoys riding her horses and taking care of variety of animals including 1 dog, 1 rabbit, 2 horses, 1 bearded dragon and a hermit crab.
Kacy F.Kennel Assistant
My Name is Kacy and I have been a Kennel technician at Hilltop pet clinic since April 2019. I have a daughter, my Cat “Lunchmeat” and my Dog “Buddy'. I moved here from California and I love the Colorado weather and community. I love taking care of our patients and our clients.
Hilltop is my work family and I am happy to be able to serve our clients and community.

Angela M.Client Care Specialist/Admin. Assistant
Angela is a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern Colorado-Pueblo (currently known as Colorado State University-Pueblo) in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Business Administration.
She joined the Hilltop family June 2016, and utilizes her twelve years of administrative experience to help Hilltop as receptionist, administrative duties, patient records and everything else!
Outside of work Angela enjoys spending time with her family, which includes a Chihuahua named Buster.
StaciClient Care Specialist II
Staci joined the Hilltop team in May 2018 and is a 2012 graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a minor in Business Administration.
Staci was born in Canon City and moved to Pueblo shortly after meeting her husband in 2001. She is an avid dog lover, especially German Shepherds. In high school she spent her summers volunteering for the Colorado Rebel Riders Club during horse competitions and shows.
Outside of work, Staci enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, cooking, and crafting (especially sewing).
Maria C.Client Care Specialist II
With her background and education in human health information, Maria joined Hilltop in April 2019. Maria didn’t always know where life would take her, but absolutely adores working with the fuzzy four-legged loves.
Maria has one son and two fur babies of her own and loves baking in her free time. She enjoys working on computers as well as the patient/client interaction and would be happy to assist you in scheduling your pets!
Samantha R.Client Care Specialist II
Samantha has always been around animals for as long as she can remember and has loved every moment of having them in her life. She has lived in different parts of Colorado for almost all her life but was born in Anchorage Alaska.
She serves as a client care specialist and kennel assistant and her favorite part about Hilltop is being able to work with people that care for animals with a passion and building strong bonds with coworkers and clients.
Samantha is currently a student at Pueblo Community College working on her Associates of Science degree and is training to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She has six animals at home that she spends most her days with, two dogs and four cats. When she is not at home with her pets, she is spending time with her fiance's pets and family.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time in the outdoors of Colorado hiking mountain biking and camping. She also likes playing video and board games with friends and family.

Cindy W.Office Assistant
Cindy grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and then moved to California during her early and adult life. She attended college and became a licensed Psychiatric Technician.Cindy worked with the State of California in various nursing and psychiatric facilities. She retired after 38 years as a Program Director in 2015 and moved with her husband and youngest of five children to Pueblo West.
Cindy joined Hilltop as a receptionist in a part-time role. She is excited to work with staff and pets at Hilltop and to use her skills to help the clinic, clients, and pets!
Cindy has two dogs and two cats who demand much of her attention when home. Her hobbies include puzzles, jigsaw, video games, and visual puzzles. She loves camping with her husband and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
